Joan Mir with his podium finish in the Gran Premio Michelin® de Aragon, has brought upon a new twist in the tale that is MotoGP 2020.
Thanks to his 5th podium in 7 races, Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) is now ahead of Fabio Quartararo in the championship standings and is the first Suzuki rider in 20 years to lead the title race- Kenny Roberts Jr being the last one to do so.
Suzuki have arguably the best all round package, as the GSX-RR has been on point throughout the season. And with Mir now firmly in the driver’s seat, round 2 in Aragon becomes a must-watch spectacle.
